ROI – as taught in business school, at least when I got my MBA was Return On Investment.

I have been asked why a company should be looking to social media as a marketing tool.  “What’s the ROI?” is a common question.

My response has been something like it is difficult to measure the return on resources (time + money = investment)  spent on social media and then I offer concrete examples of social media success.
