Deer Ticks and Lyme and More

This photo has been magnified so the tiny tick, that brown blob above the “E” in CENT, can bee seen.

This is Ixodes scapularis.

The deer tick.  A dangerous animal hiding under the leaves, under the snow, waiting for warmer weather to come out of their winter home, in hopes of finding a host to feed from. They will find an animal for their next blood meal. It might be you.

There are more ticks in more places.
