Maybe I was wrong.

I may have been wrong in my earlier post about the female osprey’s arrival. I think she really arrived yesterday. There are two osprey in the nest now – all the time.

She arrived to greet her life partner who arrived a week earlier to prepare the nest for her arrival.

He’s been waiting for her – to mate.

My advice to the boy osprey:  The poor girl osprey just flew 6000 miles from South America. Let her rest, go find a fish for her. Then court her, keep the nest tidy and you might get lucky.
